Memphis's Joe Jackson has earned the StatSheet C-USA Player of the Week for the week ending February 6th. StatSheet's C-USA Freshman of the Week goes to Southern Methodist's Jalen Jones. And last but certainly not least, Joe Jackson from Memphis is StatSheet's C-USA 6th Man of the Week. Jackson tallied big numbers in rebounding (2.5 per game), scoring (14 pts per game), and assists (5.5 per game). The Memphis sophomore put these numbers up in a win versus Xavier and a loss to Southern Miss.

Jackson posted 3 assists and 66% shooting in 18 minutes in a 75-72 loss to Southern Miss. In the next game he led all scoring with 14 points and added 8 assists in a narrow 72-68 victory over Xavier.

This is the first StatSheet C-USA Player of the Week award for Joe Jackson. However, he has received multiple honorable mentions. The runner-up this week is Darnell Dodson, a senior from Southern Miss. Honorable mention goes to LaShay Page, a junior from Southern Miss. Jordan Clarkson finished fifth and was the highest ranking player from Tulsa.

StatSheet C-USA Freshman of the Week: Southern Methodist's Jalen Jones

Jalen Jones averaged 29 minutes starting both games for Southern Methodist. He led all C-USA freshmen in free throws (5.5 per game). In a 62-43 loss to East Carolina, Jones led all scoring and rebounding for the Mustangs with 11 and 8 respectively. Following that in a 59-52 loss to UCF, he led all scoring with 16 points on 66% shooting.

This marks the first time this season that Jalen Jones has won the StatSheet C-USA Freshman of the Week. Ricky Tarrant from Tulane gets runner-up. Julian Washburn from Texas-El Paso receives honorable mention.

StatSheet C-USA 6th Man of the Week: Memphis's Joe Jackson

Sophomore Joe Jackson, a 6-1 reserve guard, played an average of 24 minutes over the two games for the Tigers. In the loss to Southern Miss, Jackson put up 3 assists and 66% shooting. During the win against Xavier, he led all scoring with 14 points and added 8 assists.

This is the first StatSheet C-USA 6th Man of the Week win for Joe Jackson. Darnell Dodson, a senior guard from Southern Miss, is runner up. Neil Watson, a sophomore guard from Southern Miss, earns honorable mention. The highest ranking 6th man from Tulsa was Tim Peete who finished 4th. Tulsa has yet to win StatSheet C-USA Player of the Week.
