Darrius Morrow from East Carolina has been selected for StatSheet's C-USA Player of the Week for January 30th. StatSheet's C-USA Freshman of the Week is Ricky Tarrant from Tulane. And last but not least, Southern Miss's Darnell Dodson is StatSheet's C-USA 6th Man of the Week. Morrow put up huge numbers in assists (3 per game), shooting (70%), and rebounding (8.5 per game). The East Carolina senior played well for the Pirates in a win against UAB and an unfortunate loss to Southern Miss.

Morrow topped all rebounding for the Pirates with 11 while also adding 5 blocked shots in a 72-60 loss to Southern Miss. That was followed by a team-leading 24 points on 73% shooting in a 73-66 victory against UAB.

This is the first time this season that Darrius Morrow has been named StatSheet C-USA Player of the Week. However, he has come in second once. The runner-up this week is sophomore Will Barton from Memphis. Honorable mention goes to senior Cameron Moore from UAB.

StatSheet C-USA Freshman of the Week: Tulane's Ricky Tarrant

Ricky Tarrant averaged 36 minutes of playing time as a starter for Tulane. He bested all C-USA freshmen in both scoring (25.5 pts per game) and free throws (9.5 per game). In an 80-74 win over Southern Methodist, Tarrant topped the Green Wave in scoring with 33 points and tossed in 3 steals. Then in an 88-74 loss to Rice, he led scoring with 18 points and added 8 assists.

Amazingly, Ricky Tarrant has won the StatSheet C-USA Freshman of the Week 3 times. TaShawn Thomas from Houston gets runner-up. Ahmad Ibrahim from Rice takes honorable mention.

StatSheet C-USA 6th Man of the Week: Southern Miss's Darnell Dodson

Darnell Dodson, a 6-7 Senior guard, averaged 19 minutes of action over two games for the Golden Eagles. In a 72-60 win against East Carolina, Dodson got 10 points and 6 rebounds. After that, in a 78-65 win against UCF, he racked up 22 points and 8 rebounds.

This is the second StatSheet C-USA 6th Man of the Week honor for Darnell Dodson. Wesley Witherspoon, a senior forward/guard from Memphis, is the runner up. Omar Oraby, a sophomore center from Rice, receives honorable mention. Tulsa players have not yet been named StatSheet C-USA Player of the Week this season.
